Families in Recovery - Lewisburg meets at the First Presbyterian Church (18 Market St. Lewisburg), Mondays from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.

Families in Recovery - Middleburg meets at the Walking Free Clubhouse (8183 Route 522, Ste 10, Middleburg) Thursdays from 6:30 - 8 p.m.

About Families in Recovery (FIR)

Families in Recovery supports families and friends affected by their loved one's addiction, helping them move past isolation to share their experience, strength, and hope in a safe and understanding environment. FIR's goal is to increase support of, and engagement between, the whole family impacted by addiction, improve participants’ outcomes for long-term recovery, and improve family outcomes.

This program helps people engage with:

  • Treatment and Other Service Providers

  • Natural Family/Community Support System 

  • Individuals Addressing Addiction

The FIR program provides those in recovery and their families with:

 

Developed in collaboration with the Union and Snyder Commissioners, the 17th District’s Treatment Court team, and people impacted by Opioid Use Disorder (OUD), SVM’s Families in Recovery Program engages non-profits, faith-based communities and community partners to take a whole family/community approach to supporting individuals with OUD and their families.
